I am still under the spell of Your sale boats :) Me and few of my friends are planning to see the BAD HABITS: THE RETURN OF THE SISTERS OF PERPETUAL INDULGENCE. I have found the info about the film at the ichannel.ca and it looks very interesting! Also, I have never met before a live Gemini Award recipient! My impression of meeting You was amazing. Thank You.

In reality your paintings are at least 50% better than on the screen of the computer. That magical dimensionality somehow gets diminished.

Mr. Pike, I just came across your website. I had no idea as a young girl that I was living across the street from such a talented artist. Your work is beautiful. I hope that you and your family are well. Audrey

Hello Douglas,
I had opportunity to admire your paintings at the exhibition last weekend. Thank you also for nice conversation. Your paintings are beautiful and very original; colors and composition go well together. I look at the postcard made of your paintings and they are fun to watch, interesting every time.

A friend and neighbor of mine, Louise St. Amour, was at an artist network meeting and she mentioned my name and that I had lived in Pushthrough Nfld during the 1970's...
She wrote me this email:
The strangest thing happened at an artist’s network meeting in Toronto . I was talking to a film maker and he said he was from Newfoundland and I said I wanted to go there. I also said my friend Dawn used to live there. Since he said he interviewed people, and is an artist himself both painting and photography. I asked him if he knew of the artist Michael French and Dawn French – his eyes lit up and he said Dawn French how do you know her. I said she is my neighbour. He said no way so I thought he was pulling my leg so I said do you really know them and he told me about interviewing you and Michael in Newfoundland and that you had lived in PushThrough????
I wonder if you would share with me when you interviewed us? I know CBC did at one time...were you with the CBC? I would LOVE a copy of that interview!
I'm happy to hear you are doing well! I am living and teaching in the Arctic now. Would appreciate hearing from you...my name now is Dawn Doyle

I am a painter also. I was looking on the Internet for inspiration when I came upon your work. I was taken by your work. If you ever have a show in the Pacific Northwest, I would love to see your work in person.
